STAFF ATTORNEY

Prairie State Legal Services, Inc., is seeking applicants for a position in our community legal services office located in BLOOMINGTON.  The successful applicant will participate in a full range of legal activities, including the preparation and conduct of administrative hearings and trials of cases for elderly and low-income persons.  Prefer applicants already admitted to the Illinois Bar, but will consider applicants who are taking the July Bar Exam or are already admitted outside Illinois under Supreme Court Rule 717.  Legal experience is preferred, but not required.  Salary starts at $40,000; depending upon experience.  Liberal fringe benefits.

STAFF ATTORNEY

Prairie State Legal Services, Inc., is seeking applicants for a temporary position in our community legal services office located in ROCK ISLAND.  The successful applicant will participate in a full range of legal activities, including the preparation and conduct of administrative hearings and trials of cases for elderly and low-income persons.  At least five years of legal experience is preferred.  Salary starts at $40,000; depending upon experience.This is not a permanent job position; rather, this position is intended to provide staffing while one of our regular staff attorneys is on an extended leave due to active military service.  It is anticipated that the position will last from
June 1, 2008 until November 2009.
