Campaign for Legal Services

In 1997, following a severe reduction in federal funding for legal services, attorneys and bar associations began the Campaign for Legal Services, a fundraising effort to ensure that access to justice remains a reality. Coordinated by volunteer attorneys and business leaders, the Campaign for Legal Services raises funds for local offices of Prairie State. Contributions to the Campaign support client services in the communities where funds originate. The Campaign for Legal Services provides between 7% and 16% of funding for local offices.

The efforts of Campaign volunteers and the generosity of contributors have ensured access to justice for thousands of adults and children. The need continues. Please contribute and contact your local Prairie State office about what you can do to help.
