Why I Volunteer
"Some of the clients I remember most and cases that have been most fulfilling personally have been those I've had the honor of representing through Prairie State. Part of what we're put on the earth for is to help other people - to assist those people who through no fault of their own find themselves in circumstances beyond their control." - Tom O'Neal
"[Volunteering] was a way that I could use my legal skills to help people who are less fortunate, and might not otherwise have access to the justice system." - Robert Park
"The personal rewards from this work have been more than sufficient compensation to me." - Michael A. Smith
