Pro Bono Programs
Updated July 08, 2004

Volunteer attorneys provide services to about 10% of the clients served by Prairie State Legal Services. Pro bono attorneys handle a variety of different case types. Your local office can tell you what types of cases currently need pro bono attorneys. You can volunteer to accept referrals in an area of the law with which you are familiar or your local office may offer training so that you will be able to help those most in need. You can make a positive difference in the lives of low income and elderly people in your community through pro bono services.

Persons interested in discussing Pro Bono opportunities should contact the Managing Attorney of their local office of Prairie State.
