Other Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers make an important contribution to serving low-income persons. While attorney volunteers are always needed, non-attorney volunteers help in many ways. Some non-attorney volunteers work as paralegals and help provide direct services to clients. Other non-attorney volunteers help coordinate the volunteer attorney projects, manage the law library, research funding opportunities, assist in planning fund raising events, help with filing and large mailings, or help distribute legal educational pamphlets and posters in their community.

Persons interested in discussing volunteer opportunities should contact the Managing Attorney of their local office of Prairie State.
