Prairie State Legal Services welcomes four new members to its Board of Directors: Michael Bean (attorney board member), Louis Hobson (community board member), Jasper Jones (community board member), and Scott Smith (attorney board member). In her role, she will work out of our West Suburban office and assist the Director of Litigation to provide leadership and oversight of program-wide legal services. Congratulations to Adrian Barr, Managing Attorney of our Bloomington office, who won the 2020 Lincoln Award of Excellence. The award was presented to Adrian during the McLean County Bar Annual Meeting on June 17, at Epiphany Farms in Downs, Illinois.
Prairie State Legal Services (PSLS) has received a $2,500 grant from the Galesburg Community Foundation through their annual grant cycle, The Turnout. The funds will be used to support the general operations of our Galesburg office. The award is one of 37 issued during this grant cycle.
