Join Prairie State Legal Services attorney Kerry O’Brien for this informative webinar on drivers license issues. Having a driver’s license is a privilege and a responsibility but it also often is a necessity in our busy and deconcentrated society. This free webinar is designed for individuals who need their licenses for work, medical care and assisting family, but who face loss of driving privileges; it is also ideal for social service providers working with individuals who face these challenges. Mr. O’Brien will address issues such as: what is the difference between license suspension and license revocation? when can a person lose driving privileges due to unpaid child support? what impact can an accident have on driving privileges? what are the steps one needs to take to be restored to driving privileges? is bankruptcy ever a route to reinstatement of a license? This webinar requires pre-registration and space is limited. There will be time for questions but Mr. O’Brien will not offer individual legal advice. This program is supported by the IL-AFLAN (Illinois Armed Forces Legal Aid Network), but is open to veterans and non-veterans alike.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
